Cindy Dixon
Cindy Dixon is an experienced executive, currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer of the Missouri State Employees’ Retirement System. Previously, she served in dual capacity for the State of Missouri as the State Director of Operational Excellence as well as the Director of the Division of General Services in the Office of Administration. In her over 30 years of public service, she is a proven leader with a passion for cultivating strong teams, process improvement and serving with excellence.
Cindy graduated from Lincoln University with a B.S. in Business Administration as well as from the University of Missouri-Columbia with a Master’s in Public Administration.
She has served several non-profits over her career and in her personal life. Professionally, she served on the Board of the National Conference of State Fleet Administrators for over ten years ending her service as President. Cindy also served on the board of the Jefferson City Area YMCA where she served for four years ending her service as President. Currently, Cindy serves on the Board of Trustees for Hope City Church as well as on the Board of the Red Slipper Warrior Project where she serves as the co-chair of the Mission and Outreach Committee.
Cindy and her husband, Joel, have four children and two fur babies.
